Having spent a few hours on here, (with reruns of Dharma and Greg on TV in the background; who knew that show would live to haunt a new generation of Britons?!) I seem to have achieved nothing. It took me ages to update my profile and upload a picture. It amused me that, while I could not find my profession under industry (I thought there would be a category for medical/health but, apparently, those at Blogger do not consider this a career option) they had thoughtfully included "Maritime". I'm sure the lobster-farmers of Nova Scotia will be so gratified when they sit down to their wireless broadband laptops to set up a blog!!
Going to go look at our new flat in an hour. Yah! Am I ambitious enough to attempt to upload pictures of it to this blog? Hmmm...maybe not yet! Our moving date has been pushed back to August 6th. Which is a long time from now. I return from Canada on the 3rd, so looks like I may be camping in Mike's spare room for a few days. It is a bit of a hike to work from his, but he cleans AND irons his sheets regularly, and is even spic-and-span enough to live up to my high bathroom standards, so I'm sure it'll be a treat. I suppose I should ask him before advertising it to the world wide web in general. Not that anyone knows about this blog anyway!
But before any of that excitement, I am going to take my milk-bottle white self down to the tanning salon. I hear the tuts of disapproval already...

How's nursing going? England? Birmingham? Are you visiting Calgary this summer? I'll be home on July 4th for six weeks (hopefully my sanity lasts that long). Oh, and happy (early) birthday.
